Patriarcado y Capital es alianza criminal + el violador eres tú is a small-format piece that unites performance with sound and visual experimentation to bring theoretical essays tackling gender problems from a feminist point of view to life. Patriarcado y Capital es alianza criminal is based on the books Calibán y la Bruja by Silvia Federici (2004) and El violador eres tú (work in progress) on Las estructuras elementales de la violencia by Rita Segato (2003), whose theories have been brought to the stage by LASTESIS in a multimedia performance format. Some of the issues tackled here include how the capitalist economic-social system is linked to both sexism and the exploited bodies of women and how ‘patriarchal history’ is the seed for all violence, making up a feminist and academic vindication aimed at multiple audiences.
