Led by Diego Ridolfi, this musical project has a pop style strongly anchored in Latin American music.
After finishing their third tour in Mexico, lead singer-songwriter Diego Ridolfi and his group come to Tocatas Mil with a powerful selection of pop songs, including their new single Nuestro infierno, produced by Cristián Heyne (Gepe, Javiera Mena), which is part of their new album to be released this year. Influenced by the different lyrics and types of Latin American music, Fármacos is a group that has developed a bold pop style that deals with things like falling in and out of love while heavily referencing the continent’s pop music.
Stars on the new pop scene
Since the release of their first EP Abril in 2012, Diego Ridolfi and his band have received more and more national and international coverage as one of the most outstanding bands on the new Chilean pop scene and one of the five Chilean groups to look out for in 2014 according to Rolling Stone magazine. After participating in festivals such as Pulsar and Lollapalooza, they found international fame with Estado de Gracia. Released in 2016, they took this album on tour to Peru, Costa Rica, Mexico and the United States, including a performance at Seattle’s influential KEXP radio station – specializing in alternative rock and indie music - in 2018. They spent 2019 recording their second album with producer Cristián Heyne, which will be released this March.
